The World's Largest Service Club Organization

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

Since 1917, local Lions clubs have offered people just like you the opportunity to give something back to their community. Today, with over 1.4 million men and women in more than 180 countries, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever increasing needs of our society. As a member of the New Providence Lions Club, you become aware of the needs of our community and have the advantage to effectively make a difference. Being a Lion empowers you to help others in a way that no one person could alone. Now more than ever, you can make a difference by participating in the New Providence Lions Club. Please join! The New Providence Lions Club donates 100% of every dollar we collect!

Next on to our agenda: Yes, it is September and your NP Lions are ready to start our Fall 2015 & Spring 2016 agenda. 2015 remaining events include the following: NPMS Peace Poster Contest, NP Street Fair, Annual Turkey Shoot and Christmas Party. Please take time to learn more about us and how we are having a meaningful impact on our community.

NP Lions and guests are encouraged to participate in two events  honoring those that so unselfishly served our nation and all our people.
First, the Veterans Day Service Luncheon will be held at the DeCorso Center on Wednesday, November 11th, from 10:30AM to 2:00PM. Observe the day at the center as we let our veterans know that we appreciate them for their service and honor them for their sacrifices. Please sign up in advance and bring a dessert. See Peggy Brodeur.

Second, Bonds of Courage, Support Our Troops Casino Night, Saturday November 21, 2015 @ 7:00 PM
